March 2017 Newsletter
Spring…Right around the corner?
As I sit writing my newsletter, snow, sleet and rain batter the windows and gutters. We’re having a classic New England Nor’easter, right when we thought we were well on our way to Spring. Two Saturdays ago, it was 70 degrees! I long to see green in the yard and daffodils poking up out of the ground. Rake out my perennial gardens, think about planning the veggie gardens. I want to get a new shirt and a pair of capris to celebrate spring, but not until I lose the ten pounds I gained this winter. Ugh!
Book 2, The Nantucket Island Romance Series
I’m nearly read to send the manuscript to my editor. Soon after, it will publish. I have the cover, and Twitter and Facebook Banners showing both covers from the Series. If you read Tides of Hope, thank you and I hope you liked the book! If not, I hope you give it a try. It’s priced at .99 in advance of Breaking Tides’ publication.
Next up is Michael Donovan’s story. When the serious CEO, fresh off a broken engagement, meets Allegra, he’s out of his element. The vivacious, energetic yoga teacher with wild red hair knocks his socks off. He wants to invest in her business, but she’ll have none of it. Despite a difficult childhood, she chooses joy.
Together, they take a wild ride…Michael’s hot pursuit to partner in Allegra’s business, her total resistance to his efforts, and the sparks that fly whenever they’re together.
When her father is released from prison, he comes to get revenge, Allegra and Michael come out fighting. Can they both let go of their painful past experiences and find their way to the greatest love they could imagine?
I’ve just come out of a bout of Writer’s block. Issues with my own health, my daughter’s health and more kept my head out of the game. I’m working on writing no matter what’s going on in life. Thankfully, it’s full steam ahead. First with this newsletter, as I want to connect with you, the reader, most of all!
